Covid19 Guidelines & Safety Protocols

We want to sincerely thank you for your patience during this challenging situation. The health, safety & well-being of our guests, staff and community are most important to us. 

We know our guests expect the highest standards at Donan Hair Braiding, and we are committed to go above your expectations. We believe the safest way to handle the salon situation is to treat everyone, including ourselves, as if they could be infected. The Maryland State Board of Cosmetology and many state and local governments as well as not-for-profit organizations have posted guidelines for hair salons.  Safety Protocols

We created our protocols using the guidelines above and we want to go above and beyond.

1. Only customers receiving a service will be allowed in the salon.
2. Hand sanitizer will be placed at the entrance so that you can sanitize your hands upon arrival
3. Each area, all tools, stations and equipment will be sanitized and/or disinfected between each client
4. Masks will be mandatory. We have a “No mask, no entry” policy. Please wear a mask when you are coming to your appointment
5. Do not remove your mask during your visit
6. It is not mandatory to wear gloves as long as you are following hand sanitizing procedures
7. We have gone through Barbicide Covid19 certification training to be more aware of sanitation and disinfestation guidelines.
8. Stylist will wear face protection
9. We will use a new disposable cape for each customer
10. These protocols will continue to be refined and adjusted as needed and we will keep you informed every step of the way.
